  • Wedding music planning can seem overwhelmingly complicated! But don’t worry I will break it down into simple steps for you!

There are four distinct parts of the day that needs to be considered when choosing music for your wedding :)

    The main four are:

    • ‘Guests Arrival’ Music

    • ‘Ceremony’ Music

    • Drinks / Canapes Hour Music (In between your ceremony finishing and reception starting)

    • Dancefloor Music

  • Finding the right music on the day can be hard! I can send you a set list as inspiration for your wedding music. Alternatively I can help to choose the songs for you and take the hard work away so you can focus on your other parts of your wedding planning! x

  • The music for this part of the ceremony should be soft and melodic to invite guests into your setting and keep them and the bridal party at ease and relaxed in anticipation for the bride and groom’s arrival.

  • You will need one song for each of the following during your ceremony:

    • ‘Bridal Party Entrance’ (Optional)

    • ‘Walk Down The Aisle’ (suggest an emotional and romantic song)

    • ‘Signing The Registry’ (suggest a song that is special to you both)

    • ‘Walk back Down The Aisle’ (suggest an upbeat, celebratory song)

I can discuss with you which songs would suit these special aisle moments.

  • This part of the wedding can be divided into two parts.

Essentially it is ambient music that is played for the interval between the end of your ceremony and entering reception.

Typically, during this time the bridal team will be off to a photoshoot and your guests will eat, drink, socialise, etc.

Ambient and melodic music will be great to have in the background to maintain the uplifting mood for guests after just having witnessed their bride and groom tie the knot.

  • Usually a DJ can be hired for reception music services. However, if you’d like to discuss acoustic ambient music during the wedding reception please do not hesitate to send an enquiry through to discuss further! x
